The heating chamber is spacious, making it possible to utilise firewood of all types.

Loading can be performed traditionally, or else by stacking the firewood one piece on top of another, with the largest piece at the base, striking the flame up at the top.

At the end of combustion, a layer of hot embers will be left, perfect for roasting or cooking on.
